Only 1.4% of public schools are funded to the minimum standard (SRS). The Better and Fairer Schools Agreement aims to fix this, but full funding may not arrive until 2034— leaving a generation of children behind.
We are calling on the following policy action: Properly fund public schools, starting by providing full and accountable Schooling Resource Standard (SRS) funding for all schools, with immediate effect for schools in communities facing structural disadvantage.
